Expedited Appointment Procedures:

The Consular Section may schedule appointments for urgent visa applications.  An expedited appointment may be approved due to a medical emergency, hospitalization, funeral, or other emergency.

Supporting documents may help us process your case more quickly.  For example, you may consider bringing a letter from the funeral home, a letter from the doctor or hospital detailing the nature of the emergency, or proof of ability to pay any medical bills. 

If you believe that you qualify for an expedited appointment, please call the Consular Section at 885-5500 on normal embassy working days, or fax a written request for an appointment to: 882-4449. 

Expedited appointments are not available after normal working hours or on days when the Embassy is closed.

Important note:  All applicants must be qualified before a visa can be issued.
