Change of business hours for the American Citizen Services Unit during the month of Ramadan August  through September 2009

Ramadan is expected to begin in the 3rd week of August (subject to the appearance of the moon), and will last about 30 days.  For the month of Ramadan, business hours for the American Citizen Service unit of the U.S. Embassy have been changed to 12:00--3:00 PM.  We will resume our regular schedule (1:00 - 4:00 PM) after Eid ul- Fitr. 

We appreciate your understanding and hope that you will not be inconvenienced by this small change.

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka can be reached at (880-2) 885-5500 during regular hours and for after-hours emergencies.   For emergency service please call at (880) (2) 885-5500, then press “0” and then ask for the duty officer.
