Security Notice, December 15-16, 2006

Currently there are no planned demonstrations for this weekend however, the police have stated that there could be unplanned demonstrations by the Awami League and BNP all weekend.

The police are on the lookout for more demonstrations after the Friday noon prayer at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque north gate from 14:00-17:00.

We also recommend that American citizens continue to monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
