DEMONSTRATION NOTICE

The U.S. Embassy has been advised that a Human Chain is planned on Kamal Attaturk Avenue in Banani at 1700.  Therefore, please use caution and avoid the area if possible. 

The travel alert issued on March 3, 2009 remains in effect.  All Americans are reminded to exercise vigilance when traveling in Dhaka. Avoid crowds, remain alert and aware at all times, and continue to vary routes and schedules.  Finally, please remember to carry mobile phones at all times.
