Police have informed the U.S. Embassy that there will be many public gatherings across the country to celebrate the Independence Day on Monday March 26, 2007. Although there are no specific threats or areas of concern, the U.S. Embassy suggests that all American Citizens avoid large gatherings during the next couple of weeks.

We also recommend that American citizens limit their movements accordingly and monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
