GENERAL DEMONSTRATIONS

Police have confirmed that the following group have a planned demonstration near downtown Dhaka on Sunday, November 5, 2006.

The Awami League and 14- Party Alliances will hold a demonstration at 15:00 hours at the Shahid Mazar road, Lalbagh.

We recommend that American citizens avoid the Lalbagh area.

We also recommend that American citizens monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
