GENERAL DEMONSTRATIONS

Police sources confirmed that the following groups have planned demonstrations on Wednesday, October 4, 2006.

The National Committee for Housing for the Garment Workers will hold a demonstration at 11:00 hours at the Muktangan.

The Karmajibi Nari will hold a demonstration at 15:00 hours at the Muktangan.

The Gonomukti Andolon and Five Leftist Alliance Party will hold a demonstration at 15:30 hours at the Muktangan.

The International Khatme Nabuat Movement Bangladesh will hold a demonstration at 17:00 hours at the Tejgaon Road.

We recommend that American citizens avoid the Muktangan and Tejgaon area during the times specified above.

We also recommend that American citizens monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
