Security Notice, October 17, 2006

GENERAL DEMONSTRATIONS

Police sources confirmed that the following group has planned a demonstration near downtown Dhaka on Tuesday, October 17, 2006.

The National Front of Teachers and Employees will hold a demonstration at 11:30 hours at the Muktangan.

We recommend that American citizens avoid the Muktangan area during the time specified above.

We also recommend that American citizens monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
