The Embassy has learned that JCD (Jatiotabadi Chattra Dal) will demonstrate in major educational institutions of the country.  In Dhaka, JCD plans to demonstrate during class hours at about 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Dhaka University, Jagannath University, Titumir College (in Mohakhali) and Abu Zar Giferi College (in Malibagh).

The Embassy advises all Americans to avoid educational institutions throughout the country for the remainder of the day.

We remind all Americans to exercise vigilance when traveling in Dhaka as demonstrations can occur with little warning. Please be alert and aware at all times and vary routes and schedules. We encourage all American Citizens to carry their mobile phones with them at all times.
