GENERAL DEMONSTRATIONS

Police sources confirmed that the following groups have planned demonstrations on Thursday, September 28, 2006.

The Bangladesh Chattra Moitree will hold a demonstration at 11:00 hours at the Dhaka University Campus.

The Progotisheel Chatrra Jhot will hold a demonstration at 12:15 hours at the Dhaka University Campus.

We recommend that American citizens avoid the Dhaka university area today.

We also recommend that American citizens monitor announcements that are published in the local press or announced in the local media.
