Warden Message

This Warden Message alerts U.S. citizens to the latest information regarding human cases of H1N1 Influenza A, formerly known as swine flu. As of today, the Government of Bangladesh has not reported any cases of H1N1 Influenza within the country. On April 29, 2009, local authorities began screening incoming international passengers for H1N1 at Zia international airport in Dhaka and at airports in Chittagong and Sylhet.

Americans living or traveling in Bangladesh are encouraged to register with the U.S. Embassy through the State Department's travel registration website, https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ui/ so that they can obtain updated information on travel and security within Bangladesh.
