Warden Message
Warden Message, March 9, 2006
Following the arrest of five of the top seven leaders of Jammatul Mujahideen Bangaldesh (JMB), the terrorist group responsible for a series of deadly attacks in Bangladesh in the second half of 2005, American citizens are urged to be alert to the possibility of retaliatory attacks against them and other Western nationals from JMB activists still at large. Possible methods of attack include bombings, shootings, and kidnappings. The Embassy advises all Americans to review their security posture, increase their vigilance, avoid demonstrations and political rallies, and practice on a daily basis sound security procedures, such as varying the times and routes of their movements.
