Police sources confirmed that opposition leader Sheikh Hasina announced 12 hours dawn to dusk country wide Hartal on November 24th and a country wide protest on November 23. In Dhaka, a demonstration will be staged at Bangabandhu Avenue (Map-11E) at 1500 hours today.
Accordingly, we recommend that American citizens avoid this area during the scheduled protest.
