Several improvised explosive devices detonated today between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. in government buildings in the Chittagong Division, reportedly killing two people. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you if further information develops. We ask that you continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police. We also encourage all Americans living in Bangladesh or traveling through the area to register at www.travel.state.gov or by calling the Embassy at 885-5500.
