Temporary closing of the Consular Section, U.S. Embassy in Dhaka

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka’s Consular Section (including American Citizen Services and all visa services) will be closed from November 11 through November 15, 2009 for renovations.  The Consular Section will resume regular operating hours on November 16, 2009.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause. 

The Consular Section will remain open for emergency services during the renovation.  For emergency assistance after hours please call 885-5500 and ask for the duty officer.

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka can be reached at (880) (2) 885-5500 during regular hours and for after-hours emergencies.   For emergency service please call at (880) (2) 885-5500, then press “0” and then ask for the duty officer.
