Warden Message

Notice to American Citizens:

To all American citizens:

The U.S. Embassy will conduct a test of our Short Message System (SMS) on November 4, 2008.  We will send a test text message to all American citizens who have provided us with their mobile phone numbers.  Please confirm receipt of the SMS message by replying to this e-mail or by sending an e-mail to dhakaw@state.gov on November 4th.

This test will help us analyze the effectiveness of our warden system, ensuring that we will be able to reach Americans in the event of an actual emergency.

If your mobile phone number has changed since registering with the Embassy, or if you want to participate in this exercise and have not previously provided your mobile phone number, please update your registration by sending an email to dhakaw@state.gov on or before November 2, 2008.
