The Embassy has received multiple reports of explosions throughout the city of Dhaka and around the country. The Embassy has no details at this time, but we are working with local police to determine the cause and locations of these events. The Embassy advises all American citizens to remain vigilant, to exercise caution in their movement, and to avoid unnecessary travel. Further information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
